I really like the idea of a silent documentary, letting the video tell the story instead of words, there were some clips that probably weren't needed in the video
really interesting form of filming this interview as you interact with the person youre interviewing. Kind of hard to follow as there's no voice but visuals of this person at work. I really did enjoy the soundtrack for this video.
I think you captured the journey very well! I would have kept the music throughout the whole video so the wind is not so distracting. Or added in some voice over to describe what he is doing
Loved the song choices. Definitely helped give the feeling of what the job was like. Some more dialogue or speaking would have been nice during the scenes of him stocking the shelves.
It was really cool getting to see what you dad does throughout his day. A little wind noise in some spots. Some captions of where you where at would have been helpful maybe.
I loved riding in the truck. It reminded me so much of riding with my own dad at work when I lived at home. The first song was really awesome. The only thing that I wasn't sure on was the music coming in and out. It was sort of jarring. But cool video.
I really enjoyed the incorporation of music in this documentary. This documentary resonated with me from a cultural aspect. I really enjoyed how raw this documentary was and that you used many different cuts and shots as well.
Some great footage in there! I particularly loved when he tried to close the truck but the boxes blocked it, which is totally authentic and fits the theme of your verite documentary! Good job!
Nicely done. Your doc definitely fit within the verite-style of documentary. I enjoyed the interaction between you and your dad, just wanted a little more of it.

ReplyDeleteI felt it was a bit long, I would love to hear something on background, like his story or something.
